Here’s the story of how Sea of Roses came to life, and why I pour so much love into what I do.
I’m Claire, and Sea of Roses is more than a business to me, it’s a piece of my heart.
The idea first took root years ago, when I was planning my own wedding. I remember searching endlessly for favours and finishing touches that felt right… something personal, something meaningful, something that reflected who we were.
Nothing quite fit, so I started creating my own ideas, saving every note, colour swatch, and spark of inspiration. I didn’t know it then, but Sea of Roses was quietly beginning.
In 2018, during maternity leave with my little boy, Ethan, that spark finally became something real. Becoming a mum changed me, it made me braver, more intentional, and more determined to build something that blended creativity with meaning. And so, Sea of Roses came to life at my kitchen table, surrounded by ribbons, kraft boxes, notebooks, and a baby monitor.
Today, I live in the Midlands with my husband, Andy, and Ethan, who is growing faster than I ever imagined.
Our little family loves getting outdoors, walking through nature, and enjoying all the simple moments that remind us what really matters. Those moments inspire everything I create.
